the celebrant:
"I call upon these people here present to witness that I [Name
of Groom] take you [Name of Bride] to be my lawfully wedded wife".
"I call upon these people here present to witness that I [Name of Bride] take you [Name of Groom] to be my lawfully wedded husband".
The giving or exchanging of rings then follows:
"I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and as a sign
of my promise".
Reading:
"Today I marry my best friend
The one I laugh and cry with,
The one I have learned from and shared with.
This one I have chosen to support, encourage and give myself to,
Through all the days given us to share.
Today I marry the one I love".
Celebrant:
"On behalf of all of us gathered here, I extend to you our
love and support. May your relationship flourish and grow together throughout
a long and happy life together. By the powers vested in me as a civil
